The Anglican Diocese of Montreal, called to be a ministry faithful to God’s action in Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit, true to the Gospel and spiritually alive in prayer, worship and service, is reaching out in evangelism and mission and is growing in ministry, energy and numbers.

Our Mission

To assist Diocesan Council, the Standing Committees, and the various units of the Diocese of Montreal in the fulfillment of their respective mandates. 

How?

The Programme Office accomplishes its mission by:

• Providing training, critical analysis and administrative support;
• Providing tools for better decision making; and
• Communicating decisions of Council & Committees.
• Coordinating diocesan objectives.

The Programme Office also has direct responsibility for certain work:

• The Bishop's Action Appeal
• The Settlement Fund
• Stewardship
• Selected policy implementation (Grants, Regulations Concerning Committees)
• Diocesan Website
